(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the water supply for several areas of Colombo will be under low pressure for 16 hours commencing at 6 pm today(July 23). The low pressure is a result of a ruptured pipeline at the Ambathale water plant.
The Dehiwala – Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kolonnawa, Kotikawatta, Mulleriyawa, Ratmalana areas as well as the Soysapura Housing Scheme will experience a low-pressure water supply.
In addition, the areas of Colombo 03, Colombo 04, Colombo 05, Colombo 06 and Hokandara will experience water cut during the same time period.
