(UTV|COLOMBO) – Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka charges that a false scare is being created by certain groups in society over the United States.
Addressing a gathering in Galle the Minister said Sri Lankans must not be bound by various opinions but should be practical thinkers.
The Minister noted certain American citizens were expressing opinions that are Anti-American and Anti-Imperialistic.
However, Minister Ranawaka remarked that countries such as Singapore had set an example of the need for pragmatic thinking.
He said all organizations be it under the purview of the Public sector or the private sector, must be taken forward.
